Client: McDonald's Event Title: Ignite Systems Meeting 2013 Event Type: Conference McDonalds appointed the team at Belle Laide Events as the conference organiser in Sydney to run their 2013 Ignite Conference. Together Belle Laide Events and McDonalds produced a conference to remember. The conference was a huge success with Belle Laide Events looking after all of the design, venue sourcing, registration, accommodation, food and beverage and all Audio Visual Requirements. The 300 PAX conference took place at the Sheraton on The Park, McDonalds staff stayed onsite and attended the day conference. MC Andrew O’Keefe provided the perfect balance for keeping conference content on track and introducing show stopping entertainment throughout the day. Highlight performances from drummers, dancing troupes, drone deliveries and a performance by the Amore choir kept all guests engaged and entertained throughout the program. Once the conference concluded guests were transported via shuttle bus to the incredible White Bay Wharf for a Great Gatsby themed dinner. The vast modern space was transported into a rustic art deco Gatsby setting with long banquet tables with vintage florals, wooden bentwood chairs set under a canopy of festoon lights. Bay Leaf Catering and Belle Laide Events worked together to design the menu for the evening. Guests enjoyed a decadent three-course dinner culminating with an extravagant Gatsby style dessert station. Guests finished the evening by dancing the night away to the musical styling’s of the Russell Morris Band. Client: Canon Event Title: Canon Power-Up Event Type: Conference & Incentive With that task of creating an epic conference & incentive program that had to deliver a huge amount of punch, Canon Australia turned to Belle Laide Events to ensure something literally unforgettable was conceived. As a part of Canons ‘Power-Up’ campaign, a 3-day action packed program was created and implemented by our talented team of Event Managers and Event Coordinators. Queenstown, New Zealand became our playground and given the campaign was scheduled to launch in winter, what better place for Belle Laide to create an experience that was bound to shift and inspire delegates. The only thing ‘normal’ about this experience was the flight to and from Australia. When delegates landed the tone was immediately set by sending guests by helicopter to the highest peaks of The Remarkable mountain ranges and there amongst the cliff tops delegates received their brief, Power Up Survival Packs and even their hotel check-ins to make things even more unique. High impact conferencing with guest speakers and well-crafted content was followed each day with team building in the afternoon. Bungy jumping, Zip-trekking and winter Heli Rafting were only a couple of the team-building activities offered. That was the easy stuff… The “Power Up Proving Ground” devised by Belle Laide was where things got interesting and proved the absolute highlight. Taken to remote snow covered ranges, delegates were pushed to the limits soaring through the snow and ice in high performance vehicles. Belle Laide had created a custom ploughed testing ground with over 2km over ice tracks for auto time-trials and defensive driving tests which ensured for a highly competitive afternoon. Hefty Risk Management was imperative and sure enough the unpredictable winter weather consistently closed in but all alternatives and contingency plans where utilised where required without any of the delegates realising and more importantly, without fuss. And just when you thought it was over – the return transfers to the Queenstown airport were not at all by coach, but by speed boat – a shot of cool air before your flight, there’s nothing more refreshing and to ensure you’ve been “Powered Up” for the future. Renata A. – Communications Manager for Canon left with this feedback: “… the feedback has literally been incredible! Again we extend our gratitude to you and your team. The efforts and flexibility across the event from start to finish was greatly appreciated and this was by far the best incentive we’ve seen…”
