One of our favourite family days as event managers is the Employers Mutual Event is filled with fun. Each year a theme is developed with characters, activities and inflatables along with live music, summer BBQ and drinks for the adults.
In the past, the family days have been held in venues such as centennial parklands, the pavilion and middle harbor yacht club all offering their own unique style and perfect outdoor spaces for private events.
Our annual relay race is a favourite with challenges for kids and adults alike. Old school favourites such as egg and spoon, sac races and space hoppers all come into play with a mass tug and war to finish. Medals and trophies are presented to the winners at the end of the race…. and it gets more and more competitive every year with each team fighting for the winning title
The day is filled with entertainment, from roaming balloon benders, activity leaders, bouncy castles, giant games and face painting all set in a fun and colourful surrounding. A family day where there is truly something for everyone.

Belle Laide Events has been the chosen event planners involved with the annual McDonald’s family day since 2007- and we’ve loved every second!
Each year, 500 McDonald’s staff and their families attend the event, which includes a morning stage show, lunch, roaming entertainment, mechanical rides and inflatables.
Belle Laide Events has booked venues that have allowed for wet weather contingency (ensuring a great day in any conditions) with extensive grounds for rides such as dodgems, climbing walls, teacups and even animal farms and pony rides.
As these events are held at the end of the year, Christmas is a huge part of the celebration with Santa himself attending every year, and of course, presents for all the kids! Each present is matched to a child’s age and gender to make the experience truly unique for everyone. Our family fun facilitators are also on hand to make the day fun for kids and adults alike with interactive activities and fun for all.
